Dandelion: An Original Musical
A real story about family, sacrifice, and choosing the life you want despite your circumstances. Dandelion is a full-length musical I began developing with my amazing team in 2017. We had our first reading in NYC late 2017, our first workshop with an audience in 2018, participated in 54 Below's New Musical series where we performed a concert version of the show's score in August 2019, and now are thrilled to be opening our Workshop Premier at Trustus Theatre in Columbia, SC this August 2024.

Eurydice by Sarah Ruhl
ACT1 Theatre
Eurydice, a fantastic marriage of poetry and performance written by Sarah Ruhl, and my directorial debut in Atlanta. This story follows the century old tale of Orpheus and Eurydice but reimagined in a more contemporary setting, from the heroine's perspective. This rendition of the show focused in on the idea of the underworld, and how it connects to our city. Bonus: My first-time costume designing! More photos linked here:
A Circular Play: A Play In Circles
My senior thesis in college, and a memorable success in devised theatre. With an entirely female cast and crew, we created a performance piece based of Gertrude Stein's poem "A Circular Play". The development of this piece took place over the course of 6 weeks, and I must give credit to the talented artists I worked with. This was my first time directing, thusly a great and rewarding challenge. Let your brain question our madness, full show linked below.
Songwriting: My Life in Melody
Through every phase of life, music creation has been more than a hobby. My music is like my closest friend, my student and mentor all at once, the time I let my voice be my catharsis. I've written music since I was 11, and the remnants of that little girl's pubesent voice can still be found on the internet. The grown up girl stuff is there too, though. Check out my originals on SoundCloud, linked below.
The Lion King Jr.
From fundraising, to casting, to set building, lighting design, costume design and building, and so much more... My first opportunity to direct a full length children's musical was a joy.The most magical part of this project was the fact that students built everything. This was collaborative among multiple skillsets and grade levels. Thank you to St. Andrews Middle School for giving me the space to explore my vision. We truly made theatre history!
